who are we?

Aliona van der Horst is a renowned Dutch documentary filmmaker of Dutch/Russian origin who has an MA in Russian Literature from Amsterdam University. She directed the documentary film “Boris Ryzhy”, which had its première at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam in November 2008. In the process of making this documentary, Aliona discovered there was no website dedicated to this fascinating poet. She is happy to share all the beautiful pictures, songs, interviews and voice recordings she found while researching her subject.
